Christmas 2005 my husband and I have learned that early in ns. lives of passengers would join a small tourist! Therefore ...... to get used to time zones, from flights ect ......... in May 2006 with a nice bump at 6 months we started to accompany us on a journey of 2 weeks to Canada! How
ns. usual, we booked the flight A / R (arriving in Toronto and back from Montreal) with the CTS (always the cheapest!) and on-line double room with breakfast in a hostel in downtown Toronto (we have to book used a rechargable card postpay those with little money .... enough to book - about 30 euro - not to lie ns in the theft. credit card !!!).
Here we are at the airport of Fiumicino: Fabio load of luggage and I in tracksuit and socks and relaxing massage for the flight (which those suffering socks !!!). The doctor's advice was "to walk often during the flight" and I must say that I made some nice walks in the company of vechietti like me who often had to walk! We tried to ask comfortable places to stretch your legs seen my belly but cumbersome to airlines is not imported anything!! It was fun to go under the metal detector on time where I was "key" by women in service inspection and that they asked me if I was pregnant ....... But they thought I had swallowed a kid in full !!!!!! (We made a stop in Germany and there the lady did not make me go under the metal detector when he found out I was pregnant ..... little foresight!).

After a lot 'of hours of flight, here we landed in Toronto, Canada.
Outside it is night, but there is no economic problem is a small shuttle bus that takes us to the hostel.
The next morning the weather is not the best but ', given the proximity to downtown hostel we start walking to the discovery of Canadian life. First surprise: Rome is full of stray cats on the street in Toronto .... instead of squirrels! And the first day spent walking between the shops, skyscrapers via the port and Little Italy (yes, it is also here!) That the Italian may have only the name of the premises and the way is very small.
The next day, ready to touch the sky with a finger

I am not able to walk for dizziness but I managed to lie down for at least a photo!
After this little adventure we take the bus that takes us up to Casa Loma. It 's a very beautiful residence (where they shot some scenes of X-men). It looks like a small castle and pass it the rest of the day visiting the day room of Casa Loma and rest a bit 'in its gardens.
E 'come on the day and retreat from our rental car we start ...... direction NIAGARA FALLS!! Along the streets of Canadians do not miss a chance for a mega breakfast on the road and stop for pictures of various landscapes and street signs (ours is a mania ... as we see a sign we need to photograph the strange !!!).
Here, the journey has been long and the scenery which presents itself to our eyes are breathtaking! Often the travel stories I've read that the Niagara Falls disavow the tourists as if all the images more 'high ....... First, we know that these falls are not the most' highest in the world! Or not! ? And then, SVID anyone to find the falls with a water flow of the kind! Even the pictures made you realize how people are tiny in comparison! (Sorry but at the time of the trip we still had to roll the machine so the photo did not have it on pc).
With my lovely baby bump at the forefront of rapid share rapid along the promenade to arrive on time departure of the last day of legendary "Maid of the Mist." Along with the tickets we provide waterproof and the inevitable climb on board. Only approaching the jump of the waterfalls we soon realize that for them 'a little we would "fracicati" (as they say in Rome --- or wet!). The boat comes up under the falls, stopping at a place where peace reign marks ... like ... eye of the storm and all around the vortices! We bought the ticket there is also a tour of the underground passage between the tunnel where you approach various fearfully under the waterfall ..... Yay! Other soaked in water!
various bath and after dizziness caused by the "baby in the belly" to do a ride that is the mini Las Vegas in front of the waterfalls (Ps the light at night with lights of all colors ... !!!)... wonder that we are looking for a B & B in Niagara on the Lake. This town is nothing short of spectacular! It seems straight out of a fairy tale and the houses look like those dolls ..... Overnight accommodation in the home of a couple of very kind gentleman (even if there is a hostel in the country), their house is made of wood and inside is arredara style country and not even imagine that we did find breakfast! Pancakes included! Panza made our hut!
I could not resist to shop, the shop I bought a beautiful Christmas decoration in the shape of maple leaf and I bought a chocolate akka Wonka chocolate bar .... those who remember it? ... unfortunately we did not find the gold leaf!
We leave for Ottawa and the way we stop at 'Upper Canada Village. It 'a village-style House on the Prairie "totally moved by a valley where the risk of being submerged. There are also people who dressed like turn of the century reproduces the life of that time ..... nice!
in Ottawa go to sleep in a residence hall room and turn the city on foot. It 's very nice and clean and there are strange animals around parks and gardens for the marmots ... maybe? Mah!
We are lucky because these days there is the Festival Tulip then the city and the gardens are all these beautiful colored flowers. and here I must say we have unleashed in the pictures ...... the evening near where we sleep is a very lively district with bars and pubs where you can eat outdoors and we do not ....... misses a chance to do some 'night life among young people and enjoy a nice bowl of mussels!
's time to leave and our possimo The Fairmont Chateau Montebello steps are, a beautiful luxury hotel features a lobby made of wood with a central megacamino .... for a while' we dreamed of being rich spoiled!

exhaustive because the road is full of elk that come close to the windows to enjoy the carrots (appunto! )..... Warning drool like a few ..... yuck!
